![]() by turn 15 i had taken the 3 dwarf cities around the volcano and the surroung fortresses and 3 cities of the human theocrat (light blue faction). i think key to success is to grab the goblin cities early (i think i collected all of them within 8 turns or so) and use their garrison troops to push on. My heroes were level 9 (theocrat and rogue) and level 5 or 6 (sorcerer) - so nothing special really. Played the first ~20 turns of the scenario last night (on default/medium difficulty). Sounds like your avarge aow3 game too me :P I had one be nothing but a unit factory and the other be my upgrade city, and it took everything I could muster just to hold onto those two cities.įinally I was able to produce beatle riders, and produced nothing but beatle riders and spitters until I could retake the razed and rebuilt cities (now dwarven), then I converted my entire empire to dwarves and did an over powered First Born + Forge Priest combo to finish the map.įirst Born + Fire Priest are almost unstoppable as they are, but with a theocrat leader, they're way OP. ![]() ![]() ![]() So what I did was nab the free cities needed to complete the quest and just make them all crank out gold, defended with just one or two units, except for first two.
